Every so often when I’m cruising around in my 1994 Toyota Tercel, usually when I see one of my coworkers in traffic or pass a 16 year old in a Land Cruiser, I feel a little tinge of embarrassment. Even though I know that it doesn’t matter at all what conclusion they may draw from my vehicle of choice (it is my choice, by the way, to drive that car), I still let it get to me. And then I take a few moments to shake if off and remind myself why I’ve driven my crappy little car for the past 9 years.

But sometimes, and this doesn’t happen often, I come across something like this that makes me proud to drive my extremely reliable, extremely fuel efficient vehicle…

Hah! A vid that could have been narrated by my father too…and his latest “new” 12 year old car. The Tercel is legendary, to the point that Chris should have it pimped out to match the Schell fleet ;-)
