So the other day I saw a Subway commercial and as I looked at Jared I thought to myself,

“Wow. Talk about accountability. If the whole world was watching my roller coaster of weight gain/weight loss, I’d probably be more likely to stay on track too. Not to mention he’d lose his job as the spokesperson for Subway. I need some accountability like that.”

And then it hit me. I need to gain a bunch of weight and then go on a Quizno’s diet and become the spokesperson for Quiznos!

No, not really. I just need a little accountability.

Inspired by Ragamuffin Soul and my buddy Andy, I’m going to put this blog to use and use you, my faithful readers (whoever you are), to keep me accountable.

Because to be honest,  I just saw a handful of pictures of myself from the weekend, and it ain’t pretty folks…it ain’t pretty at all.

Stay tuned…

Ahhhhhh…I love long weekends. We had an action-packed weekend though, and to be honest, I’m looking forward to an uneventful weekend coming up.

Thursday we ran out of work and went to a wedding rehearsal, then rehearsal dinner, and then the boys and girls split up. The guys played poker, the girls put together programs for the wedding…go figure.

Friday we had a BBQ at our house, and I woke up at the crack of dawn to start prepping food. We had a great BBQ followed by an even greater game of kickball (it’s becoming a tradition on the 4th). All in all, a really fun day…but exhausting.

Saturday was the big wedding day (congrats Josh & Kate!!!). The wedding was beautiful, and the reception was really fun. After getting married, you really look at weddings differently…and appreciate being able to sit back and enjoy it.

And then this morning, we rolled out of bed and drove to Baltimore with my family to watch an Orioles game. It was a really fun game, and I’m not a sports girl. Baseball usually puts me to sleep, but it was a really close, high scoring game and I was cheering and jumping out of my seat.

And so it’s 10:30 on Sunday night, and I’m pooped and wishing there were a few more days left in this weekend. Of course, that would mean we’d just cram some more fun activities in and I’d be just as pooped at the end…if not more.

Happy 4th of July. Go Orioles!
